I have fussy eaters in my home and wondered how this recipe would fare. Considering the kids like garlic bread I thought it might be ok. I added roast chicken to it to make it into a main meal. Turned out everyone loved it! I feel like a cheat, it was super easy and quick to make too!! Might have to be a staple in our house from now on!! Thank you Chungah!

PARMESAN GARLIC SPAGHETTI

- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
DIRECTIONS:
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions; drain well.
- In a medium saucepan, mix the garlic, red peppers, and butter over medium heat until the butter has melted. Cook, stirring constantly, until the foam subsides and the butter begins to turn golden brown, about 4-5 minutes, tuck the foam as needed.
- Remove from heat. Stir Parmesan and paste until well blended, about 2 minutes; Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.
